For the second time, leading figures from science, business, and society gathered at Lake Millstatt at the invitation of TU Wien to discuss progress, responsibility, and cooperation. Together with partners such as Graz University of Technology, the University of Klagenfurt, the University of Salzburg, BNN, Infineon, JOANNEUM RESEARCH, BABEG, and other sponsors, an inspiring framework was created in which future topics were examined from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The Technology Forum 2025 focused on three key areas:
- Quantum technology
- Artificial intelligence
- Sustainable wood innovations
Researchers from Austrian universities and decision-makers from science, administration, and industry exchanged views on current trends and future requirements with the aim of developing innovative solutions and new potential for cooperation.
The TU Wien Foundation has supported this forum since its inception in 2024. It promotes formats such as the Millstatt Technology Forum in order to strengthen innovative initiatives in their development phase and to foster dialogue between disciplines, generations, and social spheres.
