Art creates added value

Art has always been more than just an expression of aesthetic sensibilities – it is a mirror of our time and a catalyst for progress. In a world that is constantly changing and facing new challenges, creative ideas and scientific breakthroughs are more in demand than ever.

Art and science are united by the urge to explore the unknown and transcend existing boundaries. Both disciplines challenge us to look at the world from new perspectives and redefine what is possible.

Successful online auction

An online art auction was organised for the second time in collaboration with the Dorotheum auction house: On 14 October 2024, more than 40 works went under the hammer.

With the pleasing auction proceeds of EUR 123,000, we at the TU Wien Foundation will continue to act responsibly, promote scientific talent at the TU Wien and make our contribution so that groundbreaking research projects can be realised.

Together we are shaping the future – true to our motto: Science for a better world. Together with you. Thank you for that.
